Los Lobos tegner ny musikk

I 1988 bidrog Los Lobos til Hal Wilners hyllest til sanger fra Disneys tegnefilmer, under tittelen »Stay Awake«.

Lobos gjorde »I wanna be like you (the Monkey Song)« fra Jungelboka.

26. oktober tar Los Lobos sin interesse for sangene til Walt helt ut med plata »Los Lobos goes Disney«, som faktisk også slippes på Disney Records.

Los Lobos siste plate kom i 2006, og het »The Town and the City«.
